Horniman Museum goes greener

The Horniman Museum in South London has ditched its café’s plastic utensils for plant-based coffee cups to sandwich wrappers in an effort to go greener https://www.horniman.ac.uk.

A range of 19 plant-based products from Vegware have been introduced, adding to the Horniman’s green credentials which already include turning food waste into compost to fertilise the museum’s 16 actress of gardens.

The Horniman is also looking at alternatives to bottled water, while offering free tap water refills to visitors as part of the Refill campaign, as well as selling reusable water bottles in its gift shop.
