Kaarina Meyer 1946-2020

The music manager Kaarina Meyer has died of cancer aged 74 after more than 40 years in the business.

She worked in several areas including servicing, concert management and orchestral touring, skilfully guiding some of the world’s most eminent musicians and ensembles around the world, her multi-lingual skills proving invaluable.

Born in Bonn to a German father and Finnish mother, she grew up on Venezuela and the United States, and after her degree at Reading University stayed in the UK and became a British citizen. After 30 years with Harrison Parrott she worked as a freelance tour manager with Intermusica and Van Walsum (now Maestro Arts).
