Ukrainian artist wins Royal Society portrait award

Ukrainian-born painter Tania Rivilis has won the Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual award.

Rivilis, who is now based in Germany, won the £20,000 William Lock Portrait Prize with this work titled Kupka’s Dog.

The RSPP’s annual exhibition is at the Mall Galleries in London from tomorrow until May 14.
